I happened upon this abandoned bank on my way home from Warm Springs, GA in the town of Meansville. The outside of the bank has “Cochran Grocery” painted on the side with a Coca Cola logo, so I’m not sure if the bank was converted into a store. In the center photo, there is an abandoned safe which was a really cool find on abandoned things! I’ll share that safe in another post.

When I was growing up there in the mid 70’s it was a small grocery/convenience store. Many memories walking up there to get candy or drinks or milk. It may have been Cochran’s but we knew it as Milks Grocery.
